No location data on FMC920

Hi,

A newbie question: After providing DC current (through DC and GND cables) to my new FMC920 in my office, I connected to it through Configurator. The device recognised the SIM card but not the location.

The Status → GNSS-Info tab shows 159 GNSS packets and counting, but both the latitude and longitude values are 0 (zero).

Does the FMC920 require any additional setup or antenna for GPS reception ? Placing the device next to the big window or disconnecting it from DC source and walking it in open area (it does have a battery, right) did not help. Any recommendation ?

Just wanted to add an update: I didn’t change any configuration, left the device on and the device started to get signals from GPS and Glonass after a day or so. No idea what happened. I am still monitoring. Sometimes it show 6-8 of the satellites, and sometimes only 1. I’ll connect it to my car and see if open air improves the signal reception. But first I need to be able to send commands to the device over SMS, which at the moment doesn’t work. I’ll create another post for that purpose.
