Need help upgrading old FMB120 firmware

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to upgrade an old Teltonika FMB120 and I’m stuck at the first step.

My device details:

  • Model: FMB120

  • Current firmware: 03.09.01.Rev.00

  • Firmware date: 2018-04-30

  • Configurator I currently have: Teltonika.Configurator_1.7.72_B.3.29_R.11

When I connect the FMB120 and try to access the device with Configurator 1.7.72, I get:

“Failed to get status transfer protocol features”

I understand that 1.7.72 may not be compatible with such an old firmware.

I’m looking for the correct legacy Teltonika Configurator and/or FirmwareUpdater that can communicate with 03.09.01.Rev.00, so I can start the firmware upgrade process.

Ideally, I would like to upgrade it progressively to the newer firmware versions, eventually reaching the current supported firmware.

Does anyone have the correct Configurator/FirmwareUpdater and firmware upgrade path for FMB120 03.09.01.Rev.00?

If you have an old installer or know where I can download the correct version, I would really appreciate the help.

The FW Version 03.09.01.Rev.00 is a very old firmware version and updating it to the latest firmware version would require the flashing of the device or would require the usage of the older configurator that is compatible with the firmware version.

Kindly contact your sales manager so that they can assist you with creating a Partner Portal ticket where this issue can be resolved.
