kWh data lost after update

I recently updated my 2x charging stations that I handle to 1.14.5 so my new phone could connect to it.
Doing that a warning that the station would reboot appeared, but no warnings about loosing data.
But now all months are at 0 kWh.
So are the logs for the kWh usage lost or can it be retrieved?

Also, I have another station that I haven’t updated yet. I can connect to it with my old phone. But there is a warning about “Low battery voltage”.
If I go to the kWh logs it just shows the loading endlessly and no reports.
Will replacing the battery fix that, or will I loose my logs doing that, or both?

Hello,

Did you connected completely new phone to the charging station or it was the phone that you were using before, but you had to pair everything again?

Br

I connected with my new phone, paired it and couldn’t connect unless I updated the charging station. So that’s what I did. But then there were no charging logs.
There are 5 stations that I read of once a year and I updated the fw on 2 of them, whole years data lost.
After those 2 updates, I went an´d got my old phone. No data on those 2 that had the new fw, but could read the logs on 2 stations I hadn’t updated.
And then there is the station that has the battery issue, for some reason I can’t read the data on that one, and I’m afraid that if I change the CR1220 battery, the logs might also get lost.

“Low battery voltage” only responsible for time tracking inside of the charging station (schedules mostly)

About the lost charging data, we are checking.
Could you please clarify, phone models?

Br,

I don’t see why the phone models should matter, but sure.
Old phone was Xiaomi Poco F3, new phone is OnePlus 12.

We are always requesting phone models to have more clear view if it’s related to operating system or phone.

Is it possible, that when the new phone was paired “restore device to default” button was pressed?
Because intentionally update do not erase the data and data should be kept in PHONES memory, so all the charging data must be available for older phone.

P.S As you mentioned the phones, we will start to investigate with the Android

Br,

I can assure you that I did not push “restore device to default”. Also the data isn’t on the phone because I haven’t logged in on the station in just over a year (I thought I had made that clear). The stations are not connected to network and I connect with bluetooth just to read the kWh.
So I’m relying on the stations’ memory for this, I think.

Hello,

“Low battery voltage” warning tells us that the previous FW was pretty old.
We are investigating what would be the best way for you to update chargers

There are two things I need further explanation on.

  1. Is it not possible to pair more than one phone with the station? E.g. as admin and as user.
  2. Can you explain to me how the station stores information about energy consumption?
For example, I thought that the station stores all energy consumption.

Do I understand correctly that when a phone is paired with the station, another phone cannot pair with the station to read the energy usage?

solved by unpair from phone and pair again

Hello,

  1. Is it not possible to pair more than one phone with the station? E.g. as admin and as user.
Yes it’s possible to pair as many phones as you would like to, BUT at the same time inside of the charging station could be one phone only. So you would need to turn off application on one phone to be able to browse inside of the menu with another

  2. You are correct, this information is stored inside of the charging station

Do I understand correctly that when a phone is paired with the station, another phone cannot pair with the station to read the energy usage?

You must close the application from one phone to be able to pair with another ( normally it does not require to unpair)

I connected using my new phone, paired it with the system, but couldn’t access the charging station until I updated its firmware—so I went ahead and did that. However, after the update, I noticed that there were no charging logs available.

I manage five charging stations, which I typically read once a year. I updated the firmware on two of them, and unfortunately, it seems that a whole year’s worth of data was lost during the process.

After realizing this, I went back and used my old phone. The two stations with the new firmware showed no data, but I was still able to read the logs from the two stations that hadn’t been updated.

Then there’s the fifth station, which has a battery issue. I’m currently unable to read its data, and I’m concerned that if I replace the CR1220 battery, I might lose the logs on that one as well.
