Issue Reading Holding Registers from Energy Meter via FMB125 – Request for Support

Subject: Issue Reading Holding Registers from Energy Meter via FMB125 – Request for Support

Dear Teltonika Support Team,

We have successfully completed the integration of the Elmeasure LG6400P energy meter with the Teltonika TRB145 IoT Gateway. The Modbus RTU communication over RS485 is functioning as expected, and we are able to read real-time parameters using the Modbus Client interface on the TRB145. A detailed integration document is attached for your reference.

However, we are currently facing an issue while attempting to read holding registers from the same energy meter using the Teltonika FMB125 device. Despite correctly wiring the RS485 interface and testing multiple command formats via Flespi, we are unable to retrieve any valid data from the energy meter.

As per your guidance, we are raising this ticket for further assistance. Please review and advise whether this issue may require a firmware update, specific Modbus settings, or any additional configuration on the FMB125 side.

Elmeasure LG6400 Meter Configuration (for your reference):

Baud Rate: 9600

Data Bits: 8

Stop Bits: 1

Parity: Even

Protocol: Modbus RTU

Slave ID: 1

Additionally, please find the following attachments:

We request your support in resolving this issue and enabling holding register reads via FMB125. Please guide us with the necessary steps or firmware actions needed.

Looking forward to your assistance.
