Hello forum, we’ve started using hour counters on some offroad vehicles and seeing regular and random drops in hour counter values from io449 with FMC125 and FMC920’s. See purple line in screenshot.
Good day, may I know what is your ignition source?
Is it DIN 1 or Power Voltage?
If it is Power Voltage there is a chance that there is a voltage fluctuation from the power source that is causing the ups and downs of the Ignition On Counter.
Kindly change the ignition source to DIN 1( Yellow Cable ) and connect it to the ignition wire of the vehicle.
Its not that it doesn’t accrue hours, the problem is that it drops in value. With this I mean it may update hours as being 7000.5 and the next update it will be 6990.3 and continue to accrue from there. Please see the chart in my original post.
I get what you say about DIN vs battery voltage, if this was the case it would have stopped to accrue when voltage is low. But this is something else altogether.
