GPRS settings for distant vs local server

If I use a local backup server for testing I can see that sometimes logs go there and are not sent to my primary server which is > 14k km’s away.
Question 1: If I disable the backup server does the TMT250 store the missed fix and send it on the next transmission?
Question 2: Can you suggest Records Settings settings to be more reliable to a distant server?

Good day!

There is no relation between sending records and distance, as the device will transmit the data over an internet connection
if the primary server is not reachable, then the device will be sent to the backup server
Q1: the TMT has 128MB internal memory to store the records, and when there is a connection, the device will send all saved records to the target as patches

Q2: Open link Timeout >> make it 600
Response Timeout >> make it 120
