Go2sleep command

Hello Community,

Has anyone had any luck getting the go2sleep command to work?

Before removing a device from a vehicle, we would like to send it to sleep, so as to preserve the battery (avoid draining to 0.0V).

We could do that by opening the device and disconnecting the battery each time. It wastes time and the can be broken - they’re small and delicate.

I’ve tested the go2sleep command on the following devices with Wialon, but can’t get it to work. The command always returns an error:
FMC920, FMC125
FMB920, FMB125

Hello @Stelvio,

I hope you are doing well. go2sleep SMS/GPRS commands works with FMB965 and FMB930 devices, for other devices suggesting you to coordinate with your Sales Manager to further check on the other devices aside from the mentioned above.

If you don’t have any contacts with our Sale managers, please contact them on our official website https://teltonika-gps.com/ and click on the “Contact Us” button. When you will click, please fill the form and submit it.

Else, you may use the Normal Sleep mode as per the Configurator.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Patrick S.

Thank you, Patrick.

Can you please let me know if there is any other way to send the devices to sleep manually? For example, through the Configurator?

I note that the devices are sent from the factory in some kind of sleep mode, requiring DIN1 activation to start working. Is it possible to send such a command without requesting a modification to the firmware?
