Hello Team.
currently i am working at another Teltonika features GNSS FUEL COUNTER to measure the fuel consumption. Below are the points which i need to know.
- I need to know what exactly the FUEL USED GPS and FUEL RATE GPS means ? what is the difference in both terminologies
- In the teltonika configuration tool i need to know what values enter at these blocks
a) Correction coefficient ?
b) Higher speeds Add (%) ?
c) highway consumption every (km/h) ?
kindly let me know how can i get these values ?
Although, at teltonika wiki there is mentioned about the above questions but these answer not enough to properly configure the device
Hello ?
Can i get any response here !
Thanks,
Hi,
Good day, Thank you for contacting Teltonika Telematics!
To configure Fuel Counter parameters use fuel consumption norms which are presented in the technical documentation of the vehicle. By default speeds for these fuel consumption norms are: City – 30 km/h, Average - 60 km/h, Highway - 90 km/h. These values can be changed.
- I need to know what exactly the FUEL USED GPS and FUEL RATE GPS means ? what is the difference in both terminologies
Answer to question above
Fuel Used GPS means how much ml of fuel has been consumed of the vehicle based on the parameters set in GNSS fuel Counter. Note:default unit value is in ml
Fuel Rate GPS means what was the rate by which fuel was consumed as per parameters set in the GNSS fuel counter Litre/Hour Note. Default unit will be l/h*100
- In the teltonika configuration tool i need to know what values enter at these blocks
a) Correction coefficient ? This value is used to correct the fuel consumption which was calculated by the device. By default it is 1 which means the value which was calculated by the device will be sent but if you find some variation in the values from actual values after testing you can correct it by adjusting the coefficient values. with range from 0.01 to 2
b) Higher speeds Add (%) ? By default it value is 20 which means when vehicle is moving with Higher speed mentioned in the configuration When speed is higher than the highway fuel consumption speed, x% of highway fuel consumption is added every extra y km/h, by default device adds 20% every 50 km/h of extra speed
c) highway consumption every (km/h) ? By Default it is 50 which means device will add 20% in fuel consumption with increase of every 50 km/h of extra speed from Highway speed
for example, the fuel consumption is (1.2 * (Highway Fuel Consumption)) at 140 km/h and (1.4 * (Highway Fuel Consumption)) at 190 km/h.
