Get back via LTE

Hello.
I would like to know if I can use FMM003 to retrieve GPS coordinates, fuel information and CAN data from a vehicle via 4GLTE. If so, is there a tutorial?

Hi @JPStanaka

Good day, if you want to connect via 4G LTE CAT1 network you need to use FMC003 and if the network is 4G LTE CAT M1 you need to use FMM003.

Please find the the comparison table here: https://teltonika-gps.com/compare?productIDs=82,97

For the GPS coordinates yes the device will give you that information and also the FUEL level depends on the OEM parameters.

For the supported list please visit this link: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/images/4/47/FMX003%2BFMX001%2BFMX00A_Supported_Vehicles_(EV)_20240318.pdf

The device is using codec 8 and codec 8 extended for data sending and codec 12/13/14 for GPRS command.

Thank you Maynard. I would like to ask you one more question. The device sends data to the server using GPRS, but how does the server receive it? Also, do I need software to receive data sent to the server?

Hi

There are 2 options

  1. You need to create your own fleet management platform.: Help with Server FAQ - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS
  2. You can subscribe to any fleet management platform that supports teltonika device: Fleet Management platforms - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS
