FMM920 fw04.00.00r13 random reboots

Hello everyone,

I recently got my first tracker (intending to roll-out in entire fleet) and in first few days I already got some strange issues. Most of the time the tracker logs and submits data to server as expected. However, at random intervals (e.g. yesterday not even once, today twice at 11:00 and 11:42) tracking stops for short while and later it continues. I originally thought it is an issue on my network, but it turns out the “Last start time” in the Configurator corresponds exactly with the time when my server starts receiving data again after the outage. AFAIK “last start time” is similar to boot time on computers.

Out of curiosity, I downloaded the Dump and it contains folder “2_fail” with two files: “crash.dmp” and “MemoryDump.bin”. This IMHO suggests that it is really crashing/rebooting. Is there any known fix or troubleshooting guide please? Happy to submit any details to engineers for debugging, but I guess this forum isn’t ideal for sending sensitive details.

ps: I am new to this system and I apologize in advance if this is something simple and obvious.

Hello @vecernik87,

I hope you are doing well. The Last Start Time indicates the most recent time the device was powered on. Normally, the device should not restart on its own unless there is a power interruption or fluctuation from the external power source, especially if the internal battery is not connected.

To properly analyze your concern and assist you further, we recommend creating an HD ticket or coordinating with your Sales Manager. This will allow us to review the details more thoroughly, as this forum is not suitable for sharing sensitive information

Have a great day ahead!
