FMC920 with BTSID1 Eye Beacon

Hi!

I have started configuring my FMC920 with the BTSID1 beacon. They have been connected to each other, and also the FMC920 is sending SMS to my phone. I have only configured the FMC920 to Towing detection as this will be going on my motorcycle and want to know if somebody is touching it, or if it is being stolen. Also there is a traccar server set up for it bt that does not matter here i think. Now correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this setting alone is enough for it. Currently it is sending me SMS alert if the device is moved and sends another one when it stopts moving (I just test this on my desk). What I want to achieve is that the device should only send me SMS when the BTSID1 is not connected. I can’t seem to find this setting in the configurator. Also might be good to know that the device will only operate from the motorcycles 12V battery, so there is no real ignition.

Is this possible in any way?

Good Day,

To generate an alert when an EYE Beacon is lost, you can use the Lost and Found functionality of the EYE Beacon.

When this setting is enabled, the device can periodically generate records with the full EYE Beacon list using AVL ID 10828. It can also generate eventual On Change records when a beacon is detected as lost or found.

The relevant AVL IDs are:

  • AVL ID 10828 – EYE Beacon list

  • AVL ID 10831 – EYE Beacon lost

  • AVL ID 10829 – EYE Beacon found

Please note that the Lost and Found Beacon records only include the specific EYE Beacon that was lost or found. They do not include the full beacon list.
