FMC920 - Ignition Detection is Always ON

Hi,

I’m new here in the community and in the world of GPS Tracking devices.

I’ve bought a FMC920 and installed on a 1999 Ford Transit. It was easy due to the age of the vehicle, but maybe I missed something.

The DIN1 (yellow cable) I’ve connect directly to the vehicle ignition key (12v when key is turned ON, 0V when turned OFF), but after I remove the key from the Car the information on the Ignition remains ON indefinitely.

My questions:

The connection to the DIN1 cannot be done directly? Should I use some kind of Relay?
