FMC640 + EYE Sensor – Issue with Data Reading and Payload Size in Advanced Mode

Hello everyone,

I’m currently using the FMC640 to read data from an EYE Sensor, specifically temperature, humidity, movement, and magnetic field values. However, I’ve encountered a limitation related to the FMC640’s buffer size, which seems to restrict the amount of sensor data that can be included in the payload.

As a workaround, I attempted to remove the UUID from the payload to free up space for the remaining sensor data. After switching the EYE Sensor to “Packet Sensors” mode (Sensor Mode enabled), the FMC640 stopped detecting the sensor entirely.

I’m using Advanced mode in the beacon capturing configuration and need help properly setting up the “Beacons Capturing Configuration” table to support Sensor mode and ensure the correct data is transmitted.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or could share the correct configuration parameters for this use case?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hello @Felipe_Goes,

I hope you are doing well. Were you able to enable the Codec 8 Extended Protocol?

On the other hand, you may use the Bluetooth 4.0 Tab for parsing the BLE data from the Eye Sensor. If you need further assistance from our end, kindly create a ticket through HD or coordinate with our Sales Manager.
