You are absolutely correct that incorrect device configuration is a common reason for devices having trouble sending data to server. The I/O parameters (ioXXX) you’re not seeing on the server are simply not being sent by your Teltonika device because they haven’t been enabled in the device configuration yet.
This is exactly the right diagnosis - it’s a device-side configuration issue, not a server problem.
What You Need to Do
Here’s how to configure your device and sensors:
1. Connect to Your Device
Connect the device to the PC and check device configuration using the Teltonika Configurator tool.
2. Enable the I/O Parameters
You need to:
Identify which specific I/O parameters (sensors) you want to send to the server
Enable those parameters in your device configuration (at least low priority)
Configure how and when those parameters should be recorded and sent
3. Check Key Configuration Areas
Check current profile GPRS settings and record acquisition/sending parameters, including:
Data Protocol settings - ensure you’re using the appropriate codec
Records Settings - configure when and how data is saved and sent
I/O element settings - enable the specific sensors/parameters you need
4. Save and Test
After enabling the I/O parameters, save the configuration to the device and test. Once the device starts sending those parameters, they will appear on your server.
