Hello,

I would like to ask for clarification regarding the runautoscan SMS command on FMC150 devices.

I sent the SMS command runautoscan to an FMC150 device. The device respond with “AUTOSCAN process started”, and there is no visible action or change afterward (no new CAN data, no update in FOTA Web).

My questions are:

  1. What is the exact purpose of the runautoscan SMS command on FMC150?

  2. Is this command supported on all FMC150 firmware versions, or only on specific versions?

  3. Does runautoscan require any prerequisites (ignition ON, active CAN connection, FOTA Web connectivity)?

  4. Is there any way to confirm that AutoScan has been triggered successfully after sending this SMS?

  • Firmware: 04.01.00.Rev.08
