FMC130 hasn't updated its position in 3 days

Good afternoon everyone, im a having some issues with various FMC130 devices.

First for some reason we haven’t been hable to explain, when the refrigerated box is turned on (or when ignition is on) the device visible satelites drop drastrically, for example from 20 visible satelites, it dropps to 4,2 even 0 for long periods of time until the box is turned off, only then the position updates to where is right now.

In the meantime whe cut the ignition cable from the box, and configured the ingition via Voltage; It was working pretty good until recently we stumble another issue, in one of the devices the GPS positioning is compleatly frozen, when the box is physically in my client base, this one has been happening for three days now, we sent the commands cpureset, deleterecords, but the device doesnt updates to it’s real location. in the others it’s the same but after some hours the GPS positioning updates to its current location, it’s only on one of them that its compleatly frozen.

I don’t know if anyone has had a similar issues like the ones im describing and can help me please.

The device is sending the last known GPS location because it has not received any new valid GPS position data.

This is usually caused by poor GNSS reception, which may happen if the device is not mounted correctly with the GPS antenna facing upwards, or if the device is installed in an area with low GPS coverage or signal obstruction.

As you mentioned that the number of visible satellites drops when the refrigerated box turns on, this could be affecting the device’s ability to detect satellites and acquire a new GPS fix.

To confirm the exact root cause, we would need to review the device logs. Kindly contact your Sales Manager so they can assist you with creating a Partner Portal ticket for further investigation.
