hi i just got a FMC130 and is trying to boot up for the first time. Like to check if i can power it directly through the Micro USB cable connecting to my computer or do i have to plug in the internal battery or the main power wire to my vehicle?

No, we cannot power up the device using micro-USB.
If you connect the internal battery alone, the device will not turn on.
You need to connect a 12 V or 24 V DC power supply to the device.
For testing purposes, there is no need to install it in the vehicle; you can use an AC-to-DC adapter to power it up.
