FMC130 + Bluetooth OBDII (Vlink) connected, values visible in configurator but not sent to server

I am using a Teltonika FMC130 with a Bluetooth OBDII dongle (Vlink).

The setup is as follows:

  • FMC130 is successfully paired with the OBDII dongle via Bluetooth

  • Connection Mode is set to OBD II

  • In the Teltonika Configurator, I can see OBD data (e.g. RPM, Speed, etc.) in the OBD II section

  • Some parameters have Priority set to Low (not None)

However, the issue is:

  • These OBD values are not being sent to my server

  • My server is correctly receiving and storing all standard AVL data from the FMC130

  • Only the OBD-related data is missing in the database

What I already checked:

  • Configuration is saved and device rebooted

  • Bluetooth connection is stable and the dongle is recognized

  • Data is visible in the Configurator (so reading seems to work)

Hi,

Good Day,

Please check the codec protocol configured in the system settings. It should be set to Codec 8 Extended (Codec 8E) , as some OBD OEM parameters are transmitted over AVL IDs greater than 255, which are only supported by this codec.

After updating the codec, kindly verify the data packets and review which parameters are being received across all AVL IDs that are currently showing data in the configurator.

This will help ensure that all required data is being captured and transmitted correctly.

Thanks

Ashutosh S.
