I am experiencing an issue with the FMC003 tracker: it does not recognize the engine RPM as an ignition source, even though it is displayed in the OBD data under can.engine.rpm
. The latest firmware is already installed on the tracker. Is this a known issue? For ignition detection, only voltage and movement work for me.
Hi,
How did you configure the device? please check if your configuration is the same.

It is the same!
Ok, please check the AVL ID 36 for engine RPM, value is avialable for this AVL ID then ignition should be ON for you should received AVL ID 239 :1
Note: If the issue didn’t resolve then you need to create a ticket via helpdesk or contact your sales manager to fix the issue.

Hi Maynard,
Thank you for your message. I would like to clarify a few points regarding AVL ID 36 and AVL ID 239:
How can I verify the engine RPM value for AVL ID 36 in the software? Could you guide me on where exactly I can find this information in the system?
If the issue persists, how can I open a ticket as an individual user? Should I contact the helpdesk directly, or is it necessary to reach out to the dealer where I purchased the tracker?
Looking forward to your guidance.
Best regards
You can check the AVL ID list here: FMC003 Teltonika Data Sending Parameters ID - Teltonika Telematics Wiki
The RAW data should be codec8/codec8 extended TCP/UDP: Codec - Teltonika Telematics Wiki
If you are using MQTT then it should be JSON format.
To get the raw data, please consult with your developer.
Best Regards
