FMB003 drains the car's battery while stationary

FMB003 device is connected to the car OBD. The device works perfectly, but it significantly drains the car’s battery when the car is stationary.
The car’s fully charged battery is 12.7V, drops to 12.5V in 1 day, and then 12.3V by the end of the second day.
I think this is not normal, freezing the device does not justify this. You probably have some device active on the canbus. Does anyone have this experience? What can be done in this case?

The car is a 2011 Honda Jazz 1.4 Executive.

Thanks
Peter

Hi,

Good day, please check the device configuration.

Kindly check if you have configured the device correctly according to On Stop and On moved mode

FMC130 Data acquisition settings - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS (teltonika-gps.com)

Make sure that you set the correct source for the ignition/movement

FMC003 System settings - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS (teltonika-gps.com)

If the ignition or movement source is not properly configured or fixed then there is a chance that the device will stay working even if the vehicle is off.

You can also enable the sleep mode to save the battery of the vehicle:

For the sleep mode to work properly please make sure that the movement and ignition source is properly configured and set.
