FMB001 Sim Query

Hi I recently bought a FMB001, and have been trying to configure it with a TELUS prepaid sim card, however the configurer shows me the GSM is deactivated. Kindly help!

Hello,

Good day, please check the following.

  1. Does the Telus SIM support 2G?
  2. Please check if ICCID is detected.
  3. The GPRS will only be activated if the device will try to connect to your server.

For testing you can try to create a HIGH Priority record and trigger it and check if the GPRS will get activated. Like the example below, for this try to move the device and see if the device will connect to your server.

Or you can try to adjust the data acquisition settings only for testing the network connectivity of the device. like the example below.

After testing it you can adjust back your configuration as per your requirements.
