Fmb 140 fuel measurement

Hello.

I need to know if i connect FMB140 CAN wires to my vehicle CAN wires , so i got all the data from the vehicle that is shown in the attached Picture. Or i got limited data ?

The parameters depend on the vehicle model, year, and brand, please check this wiki page: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/images/9/98/FMB140_LVCAN_2024_07_25_en.xlsx

The schematic diagram is available from the HD or through your sales manager.

Hello,

if you see the attached image. For particular vehicle type and model the FUEL related parameter is not available.

What is the remedy for this? should i change the device? like FMM00A. Does these parameter available for in FMM00A device

I need all types FUEL related data that display in vehicle meter.

Hi Usman,

Based on the screenshot the Fuel level in liters is available, you need to connect the FMB140 directly to the CAN bus in able to get the fuel level parameters make sure you are not using ecan02 .

Hello,

I am having query regarding the FMM00A. i am writing the FMM00A query here because my aim is to done the job regarding FUEL measurement.

what is VIN source ?

what should i select in " OBD VIN settings "? Auto OR manual ? at which factor does i select auto or manual?

what is the case that i need to select OBD VIN settings to manual ? and if i select manual so what should i write? and how could i get the VIN number ?

these are the few questions that i want the answer. Pardon me i ask something wrong

Sorry for the confusion, you can check the supported vehicle list for FMM00A here: OBD supported vehicle list - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS

If the vehicle is in the list then it supports by the FMM00A device.

You can follow the link that I have shared, if the VIN didn’t recognized by the FOTAWEB using the AUTO mode you can add it using Manual mode.
