Fixed value of 4% for battery level (AVL ID 152)

Hello,

I am currently facing an issue while configuring a Teltonika FMC150 device installed on a Renault Zoé to retrieve electric vehicle data.

The High Voltage battery level parameter (AVL ID 152) constantly returns a fixed value of 4%, regardless of the vehicle’s actual state of charge.

Please note that this issue only occurs with the Renault Zoé: when we connect the exact same device to a Peugeot iOn Active, the battery charge percentage is retrieved perfectly. The issue therefore seems to be related to the CAN profile or the specific decoding for the Zoé.

Once the device has been connected to the correct CAN wires, please upload the appropriate OEM configuration file through FOTA Web:

  1. Create an Upload OEM File task.

  2. Select the correct vehicle make and model.

  3. Create and execute the task.

If the issue persists, please confirm that:

  • The device is running firmware version 04.01.00.Rev.08.

  • The CAN chip firmware has been updated to the latest available version.

Thank you for the guidance.

To give you more details on what has been done on my side:

  • The appropriate OEM configuration file has already been uploaded and applied via FOTA Web for the correct vehicle make and model.

  • The device is currently running firmware version 04.01.00.Rev.08.

  • I have also updated the CAN chip firmware to the latest available version.

Despite having completed all of these steps, the device is still reporting a value of 4%.

I have attached a photo/screenshot of the current configuration set on the device at the bottom of this message for your review.

Could you please advise on what else might be causing this issue or what further steps I should take?
