The FTC305 comes per factory default with version 3.0.7 and this is also the current version. You can’t download any newer firmware, as you already have the latest one.
My tracker is on 2.4.3, that’s why I need it to update.
For the FTx305 series there is no way to update the firmware outside of FOTA.
FOTA access can only be granted by the company which sold the tracker to you. In case of Teltonika, you need to wait on an e-mail reply. I know they take very long sometimes. If you purchased the device somewhere else, you need to contact your seller directly. Teltonica won’t give you FOTA access, if you didn’t buy from them directly.

So I got the seller to give me my FOTA Access, but the firmware my device is on 2.4.3, I need to bring it to latest firmware, which is 3.0.7 version, in the fota web. It doesn’t show that the latest firmware.
Apparently FOTA doesn’t allow firmware upgrades when you haven’t uploaded the new firmware file to to files section of FOTA. In this case you can’t upgrade your device at all. Unfortunately you have to wait for a reply from Teltonika directly to provide the firmware file. I have checked the API and it also doesn’t provide the specific file you need.
Same problem here with the FMM003. Our FMM003 has an older firmware, a local update seems not to be possible, the configurator shows “Not supported”, but I can only create an account with the support from Teltonika and they don’t respond after a few days. This is a very phishy behavior to be honest. Online as requirement, can’t create an account by our own and then they don’t reply? Not very serious to be honest. We will wait a few days and if they don’t respond, we will switch to our plan B with devices from another company.

@black-pi Same here — it’s been over a month and they haven’t replied to any emails I sent through their contact form.
The only way I was able to get the GPS updated was by contacting the seller, who then reached out to Teltonika on my behalf. After that, they created tasks in my FOTA account to update the device.
For end users, they’ve made it nearly impossible to get any kind of direct support.
Where did you purchase your GPS device?
Really not serious from Teltonika. I called them, they said they will call me back at the same day - nothing after 3 days.
I fixed my issue with downloading the older version from the configurator which is compatible with the current firmware version of my FMM003. With this solution I was able to update the firmware version to the newest one and now the newest configurator version works with my FMM003 without having any FOTA Web account.

it looks like I am facing the same situation with my FTC921. Trackers. The current version with a whole lot of bug fixes is 3.0.8 however on FOTA it does not give me the option to do so it is kept at 2.1.4 very frustrating considering how buggy this firmware is and rollback is not possible. Can someone please point in the right direction to get this resolved?
