I am trying to use the Impulse Counter on my FMC650 to count the pulse from a reed switch. The reed switch will close the connection between 12V supply (the same supply powering the FMC650) and the DIN. But I could not get the count number from the Impulse Counter I/O. I have tried changing the DIN and Impulse counter number but the Impulse Counter still remains 0, not picking up pulse and count it. But the Impulse Frequency and Impulse RPM did pick up the pulse. Any advice on what i need to do, to get the Impulse Counter to count the pulse?
