EYE Beacon sensor implemetnation with FMC130/150

Hello,

We want to implement EYE BEACON sensors in a construction company. They have a lot of tools such as vibratory plates, compressors, and many other small machines that are often lost or left behind on construction sites.

Since the crews use a small truck and all the machines and equipment are supposed to be on the truck at the end of the day, can we use the existing GPS device to detect which machines are on the truck and send us an alarm for any machines that are offline?

Secondly, can the FMC130/FMC150 devices be set up to continuously scan for EYE BEACON sensors in their proximity and send that data to the server? We would use this option when a machine is forgotten, so that another nearby vehicle can detect the presence of that machine. Is there a limitation on how many EYE BEACON sensors one FMC130/FMC150 device can detect at the same time?

We also need this same solution for stationary construction sites, where we would install a router that would check which sensors are within range. Please also propose a solution for this case.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello @GPSMontenegro,

I hope you are doing well. You may setup periodic frequency checking for the device to detect the available Beacons within the vicinity. On the other hand, theoretically the device can connect up to 100 Beacons maximum if specific beacons were not configured.

For more information you may refer to this link: FMC130 Beacon List - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

On the other hand, for Router you may check with the Network’s Community Forum.

Kind regards,
Patrick S.
