One of our customers is using a Teltonika charging station and has encountered several issues. The charging station details are as follows:
Serial Number: 6000004395
Model: EVC1100P4011
A solar power plant installed by our company is operating at this site. During periods of high solar generation (especially on sunny days), the charging station switches off and displays error messages such as “Voltage Input Fail”. A photo of the error message is attached.
Could you please remotely check the charging station’s parameters and logs to determine what may be causing this issue? If remote diagnostics are not possible, would it be possible to arrange a technician visit to the site?
My apologies about slow response. As it’s EVC1 I cannot remotely access it’s settings and logs, as this is only available from EVC2 model.
Does it happens only on sunny day when charging is active or just on stand by mode? It may be an issue with tolerances depending on how much power it’s generates and the installation.
I would need datalog file to precisely say what is working incorrectly, but it may be tolerances as it possible that voltage raises with solar generation (it’s happens to some of this type installation).
What I would recommend to do is to check live parameters (in settings > diagnostic tab) during the sunny day when this error happens and check what voltages you see and what it’s there under import/export.
By the default tolerances are 230V + ~10%. If it’s gets close to tolerance range on at least one phase, follow instructions below:
