Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking into implementing the FMC130 + Electronic Throttle Controller (ETC) speed limiting solution described in the Teltonika Wiki:
https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Speed_Limiting_Solution_FMC130%2BETC
The concept makes sense, but I’m a bit confused about the ETC hardware itself.
Most of the electronic throttle controllers I find online are aftermarket performance modules with different driving modes (Sport, Eco, Race, etc.) intended for DIY installations. I’m not sure if those are suitable for this application or if Teltonika’s solution is intended to work with a different type of ETC.
Has anyone here successfully implemented this solution? If so, what ETC model or specifications should I be looking for? Any recommendations or examples of compatible hardware would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
As we do not sell or supply those ETC devices directly, we are unable to recommend a specific provider. You may check online and choose one based on customer reviews and ratings. One provider we came across is Fly-by-Wire , but this is not an endorsement or recommendation from our side. The final choice is entirely up to you based on your requirements.
Specs required or mentioned in the wiki is below:

Hi,
Thank you for the clarification and for pointing me in the right direction. I appreciate you sharing the wiring specifications from the wiki as well as mentioning Fly-by-Wire as an example. This gives me a better idea of what type of ETC hardware I should be looking for.
Thanks again for your help!
