Please enable communication (and control) with the wallbox from the mobile app via the OCPP protocol. Teltocharge is one of the few wallboxes that requires you to be within a few meters of it, as it relies solely on Bluetooth for management.
Good day, our app is used to manage/configure the station and connect it to the OCPP provider of your choice - if this provider has an app then the station can be controlled using their app since we do not provide OCPP services ourselves.
Hi.
That’s the point. If we can’t control the wallbox via Wi-Fi (even though it physically has a wireless module), it should at least be possible to use OCPP. Looking at other threads, it’s clear that many users are surprised they bought a wallbox that can only be operated when they’re nearby. I’ve tried using various OCPP protocol based apps (including locally hosted ones) for this purpose, but the Teltocharge wallbox isn’t fully OCPP compliant, which causes many problems.
Hi, depends on the station - our EVC2xx models can be controlled over wifi if user is on the same network. But I assume you need to connect to the charger being away from your own network, right? Can you tell me what exactly is not OCPP compliant so we can take a look
In the meantime we have a guide to connect the charger to OCPP in our wiki: https://wiki.teltonika-energy.com/view/OCPP_1.6_JSON_guide_EVC2
I see, our engineer has already seen the other thread. The non compliant command will be investigated and we’ll get back to you
I don’t see any EVC2xx models in wiki (maybe this is a new model?):

My product code is EVC1210W1011. I recently bought this one, but the EVC2xx models weren’t even available here when I was choosing a wallbox. I live in Poland.
My wallbox is connected to the garage’s Wi-Fi network. The garage is 80 meters from the house, but the garage’s Wi-Fi network is connected to the home network via LAN cable, meaning all devices physically located in the house and in the garage are accessible on the same network.
Something doesn’t add up here. If the wallbox physically can’t communicate with the app via Wi-Fi, why do I get notifications in the app about car charging starting and ending? This proves that Wi-Fi communication between the wallbox and the mobile app is established.
Hello, the wiki page is made for older models. Check this wiki page for the latest model

I’m not sure I understand the problem with WiFi. EVC2xx models do have possibility to access them via our our app using WiFi but only if the user and charger is on the same network. For example: you won’t be able to access your home station from your work with our app. The only way to access it beyond your local network is to connect it to OCPP and use providers app.
Can you comment on this?
Well, I’m waiting for an answer ![]()
Hi, if the charger is connected to internet, small notifications like this are sent from the charger via firebase to the users app. It’s used as a messaging relay service and is not used to do any controlling.
