I recently got FMC920 and I am trying to get data from my car (Volkswagen Golf 5 2005) via OBD2 dongle via Bluetooth. OBD2 dongle is some off brand. I managed to get them paired (I can see in paired devices when I access setup for my FMC920 device) but no data from car is being sent to FMC920. Do I need some kind of specific dongle that is compatible with FMC920 (what I found in documentation is that it needs to be either ELM327 or STN1110 chips) and if so could I get names of devices that will work on Golf 5 from 2005. Hello yes you are correct usually our client is using ELM327 dongle.
