Configuration file failing to upload on fota web

I’m trying to update a configuration file on an fmc920 via fota web. Every time I create the task and let it connect (or force to connect via web_connect), it doesn’t work. After 24 hours it comes up as ‘failed’ with this error message:
“Device unable to connect to service on port 6000. Please check device network configuration”

The device configuration was originally set to the standard fotaweb settings on port 5000.

Device is showing online in fota web.
Not sure why it won’t connect on port 5000… and if I need to connect to port 6000 how do I do that unless I physically go to the tracker and upload it directly???
Could there be an issue with the new configuration file???
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

There are a few FMC920 devices that are experiencing similar issues. The only way to resolve this and get them back online is to manually update their firmware to the latest version.
Download the firmware from link https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Special:Redirect/file/FMB.Ver.03.29.00.Rev.19_and_configurator.zip

After updating the firmware, the device will work normally and start updating configuration and firmware through the fota web.

Regards
Maryam
