Bluetooth beacon control DOUT1?

HI, Im using latest fw and config with FMB130 (03.29.00 rev18 & 1.7.71) What we want to achieve is very simple. When a BLE tag is seen by the device set DOUT1 to high. When the BLE is not seen set DOUT1 to low. I read the scenarios and set BT to enable, non stop scan off 30,30,30, using edistone ID in configured list, Codec 8 ext etc… The device will see the BLE fob (configured list) and switch DOUT1 to high but when fob is removed it will stay high until either movement or ignition. We need a 2 wire set up (no ign) with wake up on movement. We need DOUT1 to work independently from an ignition input, set on/off by BLE fob being seen/not seen Is this possible?

Hi,

Good day, please check the Custom scenario firmware please find this wiki page for more information, the firmware and configurator is also available here: Custom Scenarios - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

I will take a look
Thank you

We have the custom scenario fw and config. We have ibeacon UUID stored and working as ‘configured’. So when I look at this scenario really the only triggers I need are movement and that a pre-configured UUID is present. So what triggers would I need? I see movement trigger and lots of BLE triggers but they all relate to temperature or battery etc… I presume I need an authorised beacon id from the list ??
Does anyone have this operational?
Any help appreciated

Hi,

Good day, it seems BLE ID is not added to the custom scenario feature.

Try to do this work around, if you use case is only to activate the DOUT if the beacon ID is detected by the device then you can try to use the immobilizer scenario and the inverted DOUT feature.

Configured like the screenshot below:

For this solution the ignition should always be ON ( DIN 1 connected to the Power source ) so that all the time the DOUT 1 will be 0 once the ignition is connected and will become 1 once the beacon ID from the supported list is detected.

Hi Mr Maynard, thanks for the reply but we try this config already. It could work if we were using an ignition feed but we need a 2 wire install with movement detection. This solution wont work as the output is high all the time so relay energised all the time. Something so simple, I dont understand why we cant make this work? BLE beacon detected DOUT high. BLE beacon not detected DOUT low. Its so simple. Is there a version of the configurator where we can edit the parameters that we need?

Hello,

Good day, you need the beacon ID to be added to custom scenario firmware, do you have access to Helpdesk or to your sales manager?
If yes please contact your sales manager to regarding this request.

Another alternative solution is to send the setdigout command from the server once the beacon ID is detected.

Yes, I know we can do this using a command sent from the server but its going to be easier and more reliable to keep it all in the device. I will contact our sales guy to see if he can assist in any way. Surely this needs adding to the custom list…
Thank you for your jelp.
