Assistance Needed for FMC920 Remote Configuration By ip static

Dear Teltonika Support Team

Good day.

We have a significant number of FMC920 devices in our fleet that are equipped with SIM cards. These SIM cards have APNs and static IPs; however, they unfortunately do not have phone numbers. The only way to establish a connection with the devices is through their static IPs.
Since the SIM cards lack phone numbers, we are unable to send SMS commands to reconfigure them. Could you kindly guide us on how to remotely connect to these devices via their static IPs and check the configurations applied to the FMC920 devices?

Currently, some of the devices are not visible in our software, and I suspect their settings might not be correctly configured.
Furthermore, could you confirm whether it is possible to connect to these devices using software such as PuTTY or Hercules? If so, I would greatly appreciate a detailed explanation on how to proceed.

This matter is highly important to us because we are unaware of exactly which vehicles these devices are installed in within our fleet, and their current locations.

Looking forward to your response and assistance.

Thanks

Hi @Wamot

Good day, if codec 12 is implemented in your server then you can send GPRS commands to the device to configure it. Codec - Teltonika Telematics Wiki

Another option is to upload the device configuration file via FOTAWEB

If you need an access to the FOTAWEB please contact your sales manager or create an Helpdesk ticket.
