Zerotier : lost in implementation

Hi,

I need some help.
I’m trying to implement a communication between two sites and the ability to have a remote
access from my smartphone to react in case of some event…

All is not depending on a fiber or ADSL network, only 4G LTE.

I’m starting with a low end test: geting a remote SSH access to RUT200

  • I’ve installed Zerotier on RUT200 gateway and on an Android smartphone.
  • I’ve defined a ZT network, both devices defined.
  • I’ve a RUT200 access control enabled for ssh LOCAL and REMOTE
  • I’ve started ZT on both devices

Then, I can ping RUT200 from my smartphone, however no ports are open.
I can’t ssh :unamused:

I certainly forget something. The question is what.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Please ensure that your RUT200 is running the latest 7.10 firmware version, which includes improvements and issue fixes. If your device is using an older version, I strongly recommend downloading the latest firmware from here and upgrading your device.

I followed the steps you provided and successfully connected to my router via SSH using ZeroTier’s managed IP address from my phone.

Could you please specify how you are attempting to SSH into your RUT200? (I used the Termius app for my connection)

Additionally, please share your ZeroTier configurations from WebUI as screenshots.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

RUT200 is up-to-date:

I’m using also Termius.
I don’t know what I made

Re-doing from square one, it works! :slightly_smiling_face:

Test completed, I have access to RUT200, from my smartphone.

Thank you for your help
