VPN Hub issues to connect to the devices

Hi There,

I got some issues to connect to a specific devices using the VPN hub. I follow the exact steps were I can saw on different videos provide in Youtube, but I never reach the devices that I configured.

  • When I connect to the OpenVPN I got the connection established;
  • I can ping the equipment
  • when I try to connect with the equipment software I got some problems ( equipment not reachable)

Also try with different equipment that is configured in web browser when I got:

  • When I connect to the OpenVPN I got the connection established;
  • I can ping the equipment
  • when I try to connect using the IP address in web browser I got “can’t reach the page” error.

Can you please provide me some support please?

The pings are going through, so it should be reachable. Are you able to reach the WebUI of the router over OpenVPN?

What software are you using to access the devices?

Could you try navigating to Network → interfaces → Edit mob1s1a1 → Advanced and try settings an MTU manually? The values to try are 1460, 1360, 1260.

Hi there,

I’m able to access RUT_240 using the 192.168.255.10 address. I’m using WIFI connection to establish the connection of the RUT_240, that’s why I don’t think that the parameters of the mob1s1a1 need to be change.

for the equipment that need web browser I’m using edge, but I also try with chrome.
For the other devices that need to reach I use ACE service installer (alfen software).

Could you please share the route configurations in your RMS VPN Hub → Routes tab? Is LAN forwarding enabled on that page?

Also, what is the LAN network on RUT, and what is the network on your PC where the OpenVPN client application is used?
