I encountered an unusual issue for me, with RUT955. During the night, all built-in switch ports suddenly powered off (shown up in logs as unplugged), leaving LTE as the only means of accessing the router.
After reviewing the logs, I noticed a consistent pattern: each time the digital relay output (Services > Input/Output > Output > ON/OFF) was activated, the switch ports would also power back on (Same thing also the other way). However, I couldn’t find any documentation nor forum discussions explaining a possible correlation between these two.
Is this behavior expected, or could it be specific to this version?
For reference, the router is running an older firmware version: RUT9XX_R_00.03.528
I’d appreciate any insights on whether this is normal behavior or if it’s something I should be concerned about.
Would you recommend upgrading the firmware to the latest 03 version first, or going straight to the newest 06? I don’t have a spare device on hand if something goes wrong.
Since the router is in a remote location, it might take me a little longer to get back to you with the results.
I would recommend to update to RUT9XX_R_00.06.09.5 but your FW is very old, I can not guarantee that there will be no problem. Maybe Teltonika support could check it.
