Unable to generate SMS - FMB920

I am really struggling to get my fmb920 to send a message

For example ignition on/off

I have followed this thread FMM130 missing parameters - #4 by chrisp which i have tried setting up using AVAL 239 + A number (like the screenshot in that thread)

But no sms is ever received (ignition changes 0 to 1 in IO)

What i really want is an alert when my battery level drops below a certain value but i cant even get a basic value to send

Other sms’s work - such as sending getGPS etc to the device - so the sms is working and im set up as an authorised number

Am i missing a setting in the I/O section? I’ve tried low/high/panic priority - Event on/Off

Operand ive set as change/on entrance/on exit etc

What am i potentially missing? the alarms are sent via GPRS no issue to my software provider - i just cannot get an SMS to send for specific events.

Hi,

Please check the operand of your device.

For ignition change it to On change.

For the Battery Level, change the operand to On entrance and add your desired High and Low value

Make sure that you have added the correct AVL ID: FMC130 Teltonika Data Sending Parameters ID - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS

Try to add your mobile number in international number format.

I am unsure why but all of a sudden this is now working :confused:

One thing i cant find documentation on is what is “event only” mean?
