Hello, I’m trying to power up a TP-Link Access Point EAP225 with a TSW100. 802.3af standard ist provided by the EAP225. Perhaps Voltage is to low? PoE Booster output from EAP is 24V. TSW100 output is measured with up to 3 V. Shouldn’t TSW gain power automticly?
Thanks for help.
Good afternoon,
In the first instance, if you could clarify what power supply you are using initially, to power up the TSW100, as you need 44–57V DC required for PoE operation.
Please also clarify what do you mean by this sentence : “PoE Booster output from EAP is 24V”
As the PoE booster would usually be coming out of the TSW to the EAP in your situation, to boost the PoE charge provided to the end device.
Lastly, The EAP225 expects to receive 48V over Ethernet for PoE operation. 24V passive PoE or lower voltages will not work.
Regards,
Arturas
