TRB500 with external antenna

We need to install an external antenna to work with our TRB500 due to signal issues. The antenna is a LMO6138 MIMO with 2 connectors on it marked H (horizontal polarisation) and V (vertical).

Will the TRB500 work with just 2 antenna ports connected or do I need to get a second antenna and fill all the ports ?

Hello,

While we cannot guarantee a reliable operation with only two antennas, the device should work fine. I’d recommend plugging the antenna into the outer SMA connectors, and at least leaving the stock antennas on the middle two SMA connectors. The middle connectors are mainly for 4x4 MIMO and higher frequency bands, which are usually not available in rural areas.
