TRB500 regularly hangs up; needs a power off/on to reconnect

Hi

I have a TRB500 which regularly hangs up. I need to unplug and replug its main power to have it restart correctly for a while (a few hours at best when used).

  • Firmware version TRB500_R_00.07.16.3 (it happened with previous versions)

  • Internal modem firmware version RG501QEUAAR12A09M4G (not the last one it seems)

Could a modem firmware version update help ?

Could you please clarify what you mean by “hangs up”? Does the TRB500 lose its mobile connection, become unreachable via WebUI and/or CLI, or is there another issue you are experiencing?

It loses its mobile connection and does not automatically reconnect. I did not try to reconnect via WebUi. Next time it hangs up, I’ll try

You can try configuring the Ping Reboot function. This means the device will attempt to ping a specific address, for example 8.8.8.8, and if it becomes unreachable (indicating a lost internet connection), the device will automatically reboot.

Additionally, could you please specify how often the device loses mobile connection?
