TRB500 powering options / "input", "output"?

Hello.

I want to switch powering my TRB500 gateway from the AC/DC PSU to a 24V power supply (delivered by an Victron Orion 48/24 isolated DC/DC converter - so should be good enough - rock solid without voltage spikes or drops)

seems authoritative and pretty clear regarding the ground and power connections. But what the hell is Input (green wire) and Output (white wire)?
