TRB500 --> NETGEAR ORBI 7 imesh (UK BASED EE SIM)

TRB500 Not passing through to ORBI 7 in bridge..

I have been through everything with a Teltonika Tech and we seem to have a strange issue with an reduced IP subnet mask being pushed through limiting the network device able to access the ORBI 7 mesh. You can tell when too many devices get on and it starts kicking things out all over the place. DHCP off in the TRB500..

Hi @*.* Are we on this? Sorry, it’s quite urgent.

Greetings, antony.charnley,

Thank you for your message,

To bridge the connection to the ORBI 7 mesh, you can try keeping the DHCP settings of the TRB500 on and in the IPV4 netmask type in 255.255.255.0, this will ensure, that there will be 254 usable IP’s in the network. Then connect the device to ORBI 7 Router’s LAN port.

With this configuration, the TRB500 will distribute DHCP leases, and all devices within the same subnet will receive appropriate IP addresses. Please also make sure that the ORBI 7 router is configured to operate within the same subnet as the TRB500.

Please note that DHCP in ORBI 7 Router should be disabled to prevent IP conflicts.

If this will not resolve your issue, I will send an invitation to a private communication channel, where we can check your setup and find the cause of the issue that you’re facing.

Let me know how it goes!

Kind regards,
V.
