TRB500 Bricked after update

Hello folks,

trying to set up a TRB500 i had message "failed to resolve hostname " despite a factory reset and a manual dns add-on 8.8.8.8.

so i checked firmware cause this device was never used and noticed that it was running firmware TRB5_R_00.07.02.8 build 2022-09-19…

i updated with last available firmware TRB500_R_00.07.24.2_WEBUI.bin and operation was succeful. on status page sim card was mentionned as missing/ so i restarted device as first step but since device is trying to boot in loop, no ping reply. see filesattached, same sequence repeats again .

any idea , guidance on how to unstuck this or device is dead ?

Try resetting your device to factory defaults by holding the reset button for 14 seconds. Its located at the back of device. Just be aware that your existing device configuration is going to be lost.
