I have many TRB140 installed and all of them run the latest firmware TRB1_R_00.07.10.2.
All devices have modem firmware EC25EUGAR06A08M4G_01.200.00.000 but one of them seems to be stuck with a BETA firmware EC25EUGAR06A05M4G_BETA1108_01.005.00.000.
There’s no issue with the modem BETA version on your device. The firmware EC25EUGAR06A05M4G_BETA1108_01.005.00.000 is equivalent to Quectel’s official version EC25EUGAR06A05M4G_01.005.00.000 and functions as expected.
However, if you’d like to update your modem to the newer version EC25EUGAR06A08M4G_01.200.00.000, additional steps will be required, which would be provided privately. If you’d like to proceed, please reply here, and I’ll assist you further.
I’ve sent you a form to fill out – please use Ticket ID: 10566 when completing it. Once submitted, we’ll contact you privately with the necessary information to upgrade your TRB140 modem firmware.
I also have an old beta version (EC25EUGAR06A05M4G_BETA1108_01.005.00.000) on a TRB140 (TRB14000XXXX, SN:1113880601). I need a modem firmware that matches the newer TRB140s that we configure. How to do I request the modem firmware please?
If you’d like to upgrade your TRB140 modem’s firmware, I’ve sent you a form to fill out. Please use 10556-1 as the ticket ID when completing it. Once submitted, we will contact you privately with detailed instructions on how to proceed with the upgrade.
@Martynas , is there a particular reason this process cannot be made public?
Not that I have a TRB140 in that state (we run a couple of them, though), but as you have a pretty open platform, why the hassle with filling out forms and so on?
