Throughput problem when using VPN

Hello,

I’m using teltonika RUT900 and sim card to creat an remote access with open VPN.
As you can see from the attached photo, I have a problem with RSRP and SINR signal quality.
Reception of the 4g signal from the sim card is fine. When I activate the wifi I have no connection problems. In fact when I try to access my PLC network via the open VPN I can do absolutely nothing. It’s as if the quality of the connection between the router and my PLC was limited.

Would you have a solution for me?

Welcome to Teltonika Networks Community!

There are few things to check here.

1. Under Network → Mobile → Connection → Band selection. Try other bands and check if signal quality increases.
2. Check ping quality from router to server IP address. This can be done from System → Maintenance → Troubleshoot.
3. I would suggest to cross check your OpenVPN configuration shown in this link.
