Hello,
I am trying to port forwarding to other device connected with RUTX50 in same switch.
Both devices are available for each other but port forwarding seems to not be working properly.
I want it work through WAN (private network). Let’s say teltonika router is 10.3.1.2, and the other device with open ports like SSH is 10.3.1.1
Port forwarding on teltonika set on port 2280 to 22 (to device 10.3.1.1).
Also it does not work when im trying forwarding port 22 to 22 for teltonika device.
Hi…
The device 10.3.1.1 has a default gateway to rutx50?
Devices are in the same network. I think i dont need add default gateway on this device.
I cant also port forward to RUTX router through WAN, so i don’t think that gateway is the problem.
Hi…
This is a route back issue.
When the RUTX50 to the forward to the other device. The device will need to " route back" the packet receive. But… It should be through the RUTX50. (Three-way Handshake)
external >> hello >> rutx50 >> hello >> device
so…
device must answer to RUTx50.
Okay i figured it out… Problem was in zone settings.
I had to turn on LAN->WAN Masquerading
Then i don’t need to add default gateway on my device. Now everything work as expected.
yes… But now… the device, see the RUTx50 is the guy that is do the first hello to it.
but… It is working for you… This is good.
