Teltonika OTD 500 Data Connection Connectivity Issues

Hi,

We recently bought a Teltonika OTD500 5G Outdoor

The device behaves problematically and every two hours the data connection drops.

This is not an ISP provider problem, as we already talked with them and tested the SIM card on another device

Any ideas?

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your query.

We are currently working on it, and will be back with a response as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience,

Regards,
Teltonika Team

Good afternoon,

Please check what firmware version does the device have, and upgrade it to the newest. Link : OTD500 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki

Also please see if all of the antennas are correctly screwed on the device. Please clarify whether you use Teltonika original antennas, or third party?

I wanted to clarify your configuration. Are low signal reconnect setting switched on?
Also, do you use a manual APN? Are using Band lock functionality?

Regards,
Arturas

Hi Arturas,

Firmware is at the latest version

There are not antennas (original or third party) . This model OTD 500 has 4 internal antennas, please verify it

No there is no low signal reconnect setting switched on
Yes we are using manual APN for vpn purposes

We dont use band lock functionality

Thanks in advance
