Teltonika FMC125 Device Data Packet Size Issue

Hello,

I’m currently facing an issue with my Teltonika Dual Cam FMC125 device, specifically related to the data transfer command (CMD ID 0x0004). When I request the data part of a media file using this command, I receive data packets containing a maximum of 1030 bytes each time. Unfortunately, this limitation is causing delays in creating my media files.

I would like to know if it’s possible to increase the packet size beyond 1030 bytes when I receive data through my TCP SERVER. This would greatly help in expediting the media file creation process.

Any guidance or suggestions on how to address this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Dear Jitu,

1030 bytes is the standard packet size of the data transfer process.
This is part of the dual cam protocol.

2 byte CMD ID+ 2 byte Data length+ 1024 file data+ 2 byte CRC = 2+2+1024+2 = 1030 bytes.
Unfortunately we don’t have any option to increase the the number of bytes in a packet.

Best regards,
Naveen
