Tailscale still needs logging in after 7.13.1 RutOS upgrade

Sorry to return to the closed topic, but yesterday after upgrade to 7.13.1 the issue still occured on our RUTX09.
After reboot after the upgrade, the RUTX09 was inactive in the tailnet and I had to interact in the local network.
It would be great to fix this because updating from remote (as we planned) would lock us out from remote access. For now we will only upgrade the firmware when we are on site.

Best regards,
Norbert

Hello Norbert,

Thank you for reaching out.

I’ve tried to replicate the described Tailscale behavior but couldn’t observe anything similar after upgrading the firmware to 7.13.1 (with Keep Settings selected) and rebooting afterward.

Could you confirm if your tailscale key hasn’t expired?

Additionally, would you be able to replicate this scenario and share a screenshot of the Tailscale status in the WebUI?

Kind regards,

Dear Martynas,

Thank you for your quick response.
I can confirm that my tailscale key has not expired.
Sorry not to be able to replicate the scenario in the moment, as the router is in a hydropower plant 280 km away and I would not like to be locked out of the router and the port-forwarded devices.
Below you find a screenshot of the actual rutx09 machines section of our tailnet.

You can see that after the update the previous rutx09 went unconnected, while the new rutx09-1 with updated linux was connected.

Best regards,
Norbert
