Tailscale rutx50 - not reconnecting on firmware upgrade

Hi

i have tested every option there is to make tailscale reconnect on firmware upgrade, both using token and sign-in.

i have also tested upgrading tailscale to 1.8.x release on rutx but the issue stil persists.

i also see that tailscale is downgraded or overwritten on upgrade if you upgrade to 1.7.x>>1.8.x

i see that other have had the same issue, but that the policy in this forum is to close the threads very fast after no activity, strange that only leads to duplicate posts and threads.

i also used the contact form to create a support inquire, but i have not received any feedback on that

Could you please confirm whether the initial issue with Tailscale not reconnecting after a firmware update or reboot still persists?

Also, which firmware version is currently installed on your device? Please ensure it’s the latest 7.13.4, as starting with the 7.13 release, improvements to optimize tailscale start and stop functions were implemented.

upgraded now from 7.13 to 7.14 but it did not reconnect.

if i execute tailscale status via ssh on another device on the router’s physical location the response is “logged out”

i have tested both login schemas login and key/token but nothing survives a fw upgrade
